We have been active as an auction house in Chemnitz for almost 30 years and auction around 2,500 art objects and antiques from all collection areas four times a year. Our focus is on the areas of porcelain, paintings, jewelery and modern art. We are looking for new employees so that we can continue to offer a comprehensive range of products at a consistently high level and to guarantee that the work process runs smoothly as the range of offers increases.

Art historian

Are you an art historian looking for a new challenge? Would you like to gain expertise in the art auction house after successfully completing your studies and gaining initial professional experience? We offer you independent, varied work, a nice team and pleasant interaction with customers as well as a wide range of properties.

Volunteer

After your studies, would you like to gain initial professional experience in the art trade? The ideal start for this is a one- or two-year traineeship in our auction house! You will get an insight into the tasks of an auction house in general and in the activities of scientific cooperation in particular. You can apply the knowledge you have acquired during your studies in practice and at the same time acquire knowledge in all areas that are necessary for a career in auction trading. Under the guidance of the art historians who belong to the house, you will get to know, among other things, activities in the areas of object acceptance, evaluation and cataloging. This naturally includes artist and subject research as well as customer support and advice. It is also possible to assist with studio photography. You will learn how to handle fragile objects, expand your knowledge of material and age determination and gain experience in the price assessment of art objects and antiques.

Photographer

Is your focus on artistic design? Do you have a good eye for image composition, lighting and object arrangements and are you also well-versed in photo editing? Do you have experience in creating videos for property presentations? Then you can support us excellently. Approx. 10,000 photos and approx. 50 videos are created per auction, which should put our offer in the right light. In addition to the photo and video work, you can also take part in the various tasks related to the auction process.

Intern

Are you a student of art history or a similar discipline and looking for an opportunity to gain experience in everyday work? We offer a work-related internship that gives you an insight into the art trade, especially the auction business. The tasks in the auction house are diverse and varied; Depending on the date of your internship, you will experience processes related to the preparation and follow-up of an auction, the preview and the auction itself. Temporary employee

Throughout the year we need unskilled workers on the basis of minor or short-term employment. You will be used for auction preparation, implementation and follow-up. You support the work of our art historians and contribute to the success of a successful auction. Your tasks will include customer care during the preview and the auction, acceptance of goods and familiarization with our database, packaging and dispatch of goods.

Technical employee

Do you like the environment of art objects, but your strength lies more in the area of craftsmanship? We always have something to do. Construction and design of the exhibition rooms, warehousing, minor repairs, parcel shipping, furniture assembly, lighting, picture hanging and other mainly practical activities are waiting for you, part-time or on an hourly basis.

You like the environment of art objects, but your strength lies more in the administrative area? Do you enjoy dealing with customers and are you familiar with the commercial processes in a company? Support us in everything that arises daily in an office, also on a part-time basis or on an hourly basis.
