Watercolor on handmade paper, profile head of a young African woman with shoulder and chest approach, monogrammed and dated (19)76 lower left, behind passe-partout, edges trimmed, sheet approx. 34 x 25 cm, graphic artist and draftsman, studied at the HfGB Leipzig, in the years 1930-33 married to the Leipzig painter and draftsman Max Schwimmer, from 1946-50 taught at the HS Berlin-Weißensee, dismissed for political reasons and moved to West Berlin
