Watercolor and lead on paper, "Rast bei der Heuwende", two horses with hay carts, farm workers resting next to them, signed and dated (19)44 lower left, framed in the passe-partout behind glass, signs of age (including wavy, browned), sheet section approx. 27 x 38 cm, with frame approx. 47 x 56 cm, belongs to the "lost generation" of expressive realists, 1939 exhibition in the Chemnitz Kunsthütte with Martha Schrag, Heinrich Brenner, Bruno Ziegler and Marianne Brandt, among others, freelance after 1945, close contact with Chemnitz artist group, illustrated for the Reclam publishing house, among others, awarded the Hans Grundig Medal in 1984
