Oil/hardboard, "Auf dem Birkenkopf", monogrammed and dated (19)87 lower right, slight signs of age, black frame, approx. 54 x 65 cm, with frame approx. 58 x 69 cm, lit.: exh.cat. Jürgen Henker, Galerie Schmidt-Rottluff 1988, p. 7, 1957-61 training as a commercial advertiser, 1961-64 studied graphics at the FAK Heiligendamm, 1964-69 worked as a graphic designer for DEWAG advertising, freelance since 1969, member of the Chemnitz Artists' Association in the BBK. The Birkenkopf in the southwest of Stuttgart is a hill made of rubble from the Second World War.
