Meissen manufactory, swords underglaze blue, 1st choice, model Peter Reinicke 1753/54, model no. 60230 (old form no. 17), "Koch am Herd", rocaille base, polychrome painted, gold decorated, H approx. 14.5 cm, after 1973. The series of Parisian market traders and small ones, begun by JJ Kaendler around 1737 and continued by Peter Reinicke Tradesmen depicts small trades in the middle of the 18th century in a lively, albeit partly embellished form.
