Meissen manufactory, swords underglaze blue, 1st choice, model Peter Reinicke 1753/54, model no. 24, "crier with peep box", rocaille base with tree support, polychrome painted, gold equipped, H approx. 14.5 cm, after 1948. The series of Parisian market traders and small tradesmen, begun by JJ Kaendler around 1737 and continued by Peter Reinicke, forms a lively , albeit in a partly embellished form, the small business in the middle of the 18th century.
