Etching and mezzotint in black-brown on ocher paper, farmer's wife on the field, supplement to the magazine for fine arts 1902, on blue-grey cardboard, signs of age (including min. stained, creased), plate size approx. 17.5 x 13.5 cm, cardboard approx 34 x 25 cm, studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule and the Kunstakademie Dresden under Hugo Bürkner and Gotthard Kuehl, 1897/98 stay in Paris, Rome and Munich, worked in Dresden from 1902, co-founder of the Die Elbier group with Ferdinand Dorsch, 1913 -37 Professor for figure drawing at the Dresden School of Applied Arts, numerous works were destroyed during the bombing raid on Dresden on February 13, 1945
