colored linocut, children at the camel enclosure in the zoo, signed and dated (19)69 on the passe-partout, slight signs of age, framed behind glass, image section approx. 25.5 x 33 cm, with frame approx. 31 x 41 cm, training as a textile painter , then several further artistic seminars for painting and graphics, active in various painting and drawing circles in the city of Chemnitz/Karl-Marx-Stadt, from 1963 member of the Red Tower support group newly founded by Hermann Gabler, made etchings, color lithographs, woodcuts and linocuts, drawings as well as watercolors and oil paintings with mostly local subjects, plus various book illustrations, including fairy tales from Vietnam, Bornholm novels by Nexö and Spiegel, the kitten by Gottfried Keller, represented at the district exhibitions in Karl-Marx-Stadt and at the 5th German Art Exhibition in Dresden , at themed exhibitions in the VBK and abroad such as Russia, Hungary, Sweden, Iraq and Mexico, 1968 Art Prize of the FDGB (collectively), 1976 medal for merits in the arts of the GDR, works in the Albertinum Dresden
