2 aquatint etchings on Hahnemühle, in the fog off London and depiction of the sailing yacht Artemis in the Arctic Ocean, each signed in the print and signed and dated 2001 in pen lower right, each limited 10/50 lower left, minor signs of age, each sheet approx. 40 x 50 cm, 1953-56 trained as a ceramic sculptor, 1956-60 studied at the Technical School for Applied Arts in Leipzig with Hellmuth Chemnitz, 1960-65 studied at the HfbK Dresden with Walter Arnold, Gerd Jaeger, Hans Steger and Herbert Naumann, 1969-72 teaching position the HGB in Leipzig, 1983-93 head of the sculpture class at the Dresden University. Freelance work since 1993.
