red pottery shards, grey-white glazed, jubilee plaque 30 years VBK-GDR, oval plaque with fine figure relief and lettering, for hanging on the wall, approx. 12 x 13.5 cm, sculptor and medalist, after a stonemason apprenticeship from 1952-58 studied sculpture on Institute for artistic work design in Halle with Gustav Weidanz and Gerhard Lichtenfeld, until 1961 master student at the German Academy of Arts in Berlin with Heinrich Drake, since then freelance in Berlin, also teaching position at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee
