Drypoint etching on handmade paper, portrait of a woman, young lady standing in front of a pillar, signed in lead under the print, signs of age (including soiled, creased), sheet approx. 66 x 34 cm, 1906 Studies at the art school in Weimar with Henry van de Velde,1908 Student in Richard Müller's drawing class in Dresden, from 1909 studies at the ABK in Munich with Franz Stuck, 1912 approach to abstract painting as a student of Adolf Hölzel in Stuttgart at the Royal. ABK, in the 1920s, among other things, became acquainted with Adolf Loos, Wassily Kandinsky and George Grosz, 1957 received the title of honorary professor from the state of Baden-Württemberg
