Color woodcut, winter landscape with starry sky and free-standing spruce, inscribed "Honor be to God in the highest and peace on earth", signed and dated (19)43 on the right under the print, framed behind glass in a simple passe-partout, signs of age (among other things stained, creased) 16.5 x 15.5 cm, with frame approx. 31 x 23 cm, 1901-04 studied at the Dresden Art Academy with Richard Müller, Carl Bantzer and Gotthard Kuehl, 1904 moved to Zinnwald for health reasons, 1919 move from the Ore Mountains to Rochwitz, worked in Krefeld from 1969
