Oil/painting board, "Forest landscape", expressive landscape depiction with house and people, signed and dated (19)51 lower left, titled and owner information as well as artist's address on reverse, approx. 44 x 58 cm, with frame approx. 60 x 71 cm, signs of age, formerly owned by the doctor and art collector Dr. Adolf Thiele, represented as a loan in exhibitions: Central Saxon art exhibition, Chemnitz 1952, Martha Schrag memorial exhibition, municipal art collection Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz) 1958, 1898-1904 studied at the painting school for women in Dresden, 1907 connection to the artist group "Chemnitz", during the bombing raid on Chemnitz in March 1945 her house on the Chemnitz Kassberg was destroyed and with it a large part of her work. 1950 Honorary citizenship of Chemnitz on the occasion of her 80th birthday
