oil/canvas on cardboard, Nordic landscape with farmsteads, monogrammed "KB" lower right and dated 1937, golden grooved frame, approx. 40 x 50 cm, with framing approx. 50 x 60 cm, "After the classical education of a daughter from a good family, she turned to painting, especially Impressionism. Her travels took her from Berlin via Dresden, Denmark, France and Italy back to Stralsund. The influence of the impressions, especially from the south, is reflected in her pictures of the north German landscape - it is not gloomy and heavy, but light and bright."
