K 549, "Ash Wednesday", fully plastic representation of a Pierrot in a lying position with crossed legs, colored painting, signed, approx. 13.5 x 31 cm, 1927, Holzer-Defanti (1881-1951), The Austrian sculptor, painter and Draftsman Constantin Holzer-Defanti (1881-1951) delivered a total of 46 designs to the Rosenthaler Porzellanfabrik between 1918 and 1927, including mainly dance figures and exotic depictions. The Rosenthal figure "Korean Dance" is probably one of his best-known creations.
