"168" and title provided, mounted behind a simple passe-partout, signs of age (including browned, slightly creased), sheet approx. 24 x 19.5 cm, 1900-03 studied at the Prague Art Academy, 1910-15 based in Munich, first larger ones artistic successes, 1912 initiator of the International Artists Association, 1913 co-founder of the New Munich Secession, 1924/25 resident in Chemnitz, from 1935 moved to Czechoslovakia, 1942 in the Theresienstadt concentration camp, 1945 liberation and return to Prague
