Ivory, carved, standing Mother of God in a long robe and cloak with rich folds, magnificently crowned head, Jesus child sitting in the crook of his left arm and holding a dove, with his right hand grasping a vine, contrapposto, fully plastic formed from a uniform piece of ivory, slightly c- arched corresponding to the ivory tooth, octagonal multi-level base made of wood (1 min. drying crack), flower relief on the front and circumferential tongue band, signs of age, 1 crown prong slightly damaged, figures H approx. 71 cm, total H approx. 81 cm, exceptional handwork the German area at the end of the 19th century, expertise is available
