Oil/canvas, bay in front of Naples with ruins and staffage, in the background the active Vesuvius, the scene probably refers to the volcanic eruption in 1774, monogrammed "LP" lower right and dated 1856, fine antique strip with corner application, approx. 30 x 44 cm, with frame approx. 37 x 50 cm
