A 1237, grazing foal, rectangular base, Böttger stoneware, 1 ear slightly dam. and glued, H approx. 15 cm, after 1934, Willi Münch-Khe (1885-1960) studied at the Karlsruhe Art Academy and was a master student of Hans Thoma. Among other things, he supplied the Rosenthal porcelain factory with figurine designs. Between 1925 and 1955, the Meissner manufactory acquired numerous animal figures from his hand, which, in accordance with the taste of the time, are extremely realistic and attest to a precise observation of nature.
