Charcoal drawing on grey-brown paper, woman sitting at the hearth, indistinctly signed lower right, placed in passe-partout, signs of age (including creases, tear at lower right edge), sheet approx. 37 x 25 cm, with passe-partout approx. 40 x 30 cm, Studied at the Cincinnato Art Academy: from 1883 in London, from 1899 in Paris, 1901 moved to Meissen, member of the Munich and Berlin Secessions, works at the Tate Gallery in London, the Brooklyn Museum in New York and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, among others
