Gilt ivory or silver, strong round foot with floral decoration, short shaft carved figuratively with an animal fight scene (lion against bear with hunting dog), above it a cylindrical, widening cuppa that curves slightly towards the edge, the surrounding scene of a horse race with three riders in high relief, in the background Spectators, other riders on horseback, carriages and flags in bas-relief, behind them a mountain landscape with castle ruins and trees, 1 flag freely emphasized in plastic form, inside gilded silver insert, horse ears partially reworked, overall in good condition, height approx. 24.5 cm, probably Germany, around 1840, from a private collection
