Mixed media on paper, overpainted engraving depicting an elderly woman, probably a portrait of a procuress sitting at a table in a blue and red dress, her hair hidden under a white cap, looking at her opposite and one hand outstretched demandingly, on a flat wooden panel applied, signs of age (among other things wavy, minor flaws in the paper, trimmed edges), set in an early classical wooden frame, painted ox blood red, the decorative strips gold bronzed, slightly damaged, oval image section approx. 16 x 11.5 cm, with frame approx. 31 x 26.5 x 8.5cm
