Oil/hardboard, still life with meadow flowers, signed lower left, narrow framing (best.), approx. 55 x 25 cm, with frame approx. 58 x 28 cm, Minni Herzing first received graphic lessons from her father, a lithographer, then studied at the Hanau Art Academy in the areas of drawing patterns and lettering, painting flowers and drawing and copying landscapes, 1900-03 worked in Frankfurt as a draftsman, 1908 moved to Dresden, took lessons there with Georg Gelbke and Willy Kriegel, worked in Chemnitz from 1935, since represented at art exhibitions in Dresden, Stuttgart, Munich, Leipzig, Frankfurt/Main and Chemnitz in the 1920s, active in painting, graphics, book illustration and porcelain painting, known as the so-called flower Minni
