Feather lithograph, group with a reclining nude, a man holding a fruit and a semi-nude with a snake, signed and inscribed EO on the right under the print. Greiner Rome April 98, collection stamp on the lower edge of the sheet, min. creases, sheet approx. 35 x 58.5 cm, from 1884 apprenticeship as a lithographer at the Julius Klinkhardt Institute in Leipzig, then studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, 1891 first study trip to Italy , meeting and friendship with Max Klinger, resident in Rome from 1892-1915, was primarily concerned with ancient subjects, such as work complexes on Hercules, Prometheus and Venus
