Oil/canvas, In the Seußlitzer Park, signed and dated 1945 lower left, numbered 322 on the reverse, titled and artist's address, framed, approx. 30 x 36 cm, with frame approx. 47.5 x 54.5 cm, apprenticeship as a textile pattern draftsman in Chemnitz, from 1904-08 studied at the Dresden School of Applied Arts, then from 1910-14 at the Dresden Art Academy with Eugen Bracht and Gotthardt Kuehl, 1944 studio fire and loss of parts of his work, mainly worked as a landscape painter in Saxony, known as the Lößnitz painter
