Maker's marks on the lid (probably Saxon), round foot, cylindrical wall with braided depiction of the bakers' guild sign, curved ribbon handle, hinged lid marked A. Bach Meiß and dated 1794, scepter-shaped thumb rest, signs of age and wear, foot slightly dented, H approx 25 cm, late 18th century
