Manus Manum Lavat, common motif on Baroque wedding medals, as here: man and woman in contemporary clothing shake hands, Cupid hovers between them and pours water from an urn above both hands, in the middle above is the Holy Spirit, represented in the form of a dove whose blessing rays shine on the couple, rv. Man and woman in a grape garden, PROLE BEAT CASTA ET CONSTANS CONCORDIA NUPTOS, D approx. 59 mm, approx. 56 g, probably around 1660
