Wooden grip, slightly rounded at the edges, two ball-head rivets, double-edged pointed blade, the front third has a saying from the Koran on one side (before Ramadan), leather sheath with metal decorations, total length approx. 60 cm, Georgia 17th century. Century, provenance: from an old Georgian family property, minor signs of age according to the age, nice collectible condition, the shape of the qama, especially that of the blade, is reminiscent of the Roman gladius and is significantly influenced by this ancient weapon, there are also similarities to the weapons of the mounted cavalry tribes of the Caucasus - the Kindjal (Kindschal, Kinschal or Kanjal) or it served as a model for the weapons of the Cossacks.
