Gold (hooked, approx. 3.71 g in total, of which approx. 3.4 g the coin), also known as the children's, trinity or sun ducat, was minted from 1616 at the instigation of the Saxon electress, av. CS with electoral swords (Princess Sophie), rv. Eye of God "IHS" (Jesus Christ), the coin was so popular as a godfather gift that it was restriked at the Dresden Mint until 1872, here a later restrike (shortened spelling "Kind" instead of "Children")
