Lithograph, "Lenin and the unbelieving Timofej", signed and titled in lead under the print, slight signs of age, rs. Remnants of attachment, sheet approx. 50 x 38 cm, 1948 studied at the FS for applied arts in Leipzig, 1949 studied at the academy for graphic arts and book trade in Leipzig, which he dropped out in 1951, 1951-54 freelance in Leipzig, 1956-59 chairman VBK in the district of Leipzig, 1961-64 professor and head of the HGB Leipzig, 1964 dismissed as rector due to his criticism of the cultural policy of the GDR, 1964-68 head of the graphics and painting department of the HGB, 1968 dismissal with subsequent freelance work, numerous awards since 1970 and exhibitions, including the 2005/06 exhibition "Bernhard Heisig - the anger of images" in Düsseldorf, Leipzig, Berlin and Breslau. Along with Werner Tübke and Wolfgang Mattheuer, Bernhard Heisig is one of the most important representatives of the Leipzig School
