Verni mou (soft ground etching) on handmade paper, "Lacher im Café", signed in lead under the print and limited "94/100", from the portfolio "Café Leipzig", ed. by Ulla Heise, Leipzig 1990, sheet approx. 34 x 48 cm, the artist is associated with the Leipzig School, from 1965 studied painting and graphics at the Leipzig HGB, since 1978 teaching in Schneeberg, 1992 appointed professor, 1993 founding dean of the applied arts department at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau in Schneeberg, Peter üpfel is now a lecturer at the Visual Arts Studio of the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg
