Artist book, "Theodor Däubler, Ein Lauschender auf blauer Au", with drawings by Gerhard Altenbourg, published by Graphikum Munich in 1963, 33 pages, unnumbered copy, handwritten texts and drawings in offset printing, blue cardboard cover with Japanese binding, signs of age, format approx. 22 x 32cm. Included: sympathy card on the artist's death in 1989, portrait photo of the artist by Ernst Goldberg (60th birthday party at Burgk Castle 1986) as well as numerous leaflets and newspaper articles on Gerhard Altenbourg, poet, painter and graphic artist, actually Gerhard Ströch, grew up in Altenburg in Thuringia, 1948-50 studies at the HS for architecture and fine arts in Weimar with Hans Hoffmann-Lederer and in the litho workshop of Hans Arloth, he draws his inspiration from events he has experienced himself such as war experiences and from literature, art and intellectual history from ancient mythology to on Pablo Picasso and Johannes Bobrowski, 1952 first solo exhibition in the Springer Gallery in West Berlin, supported in the GDR by Bernhard Heisig and Willi Sitte, 1977 participation in the documenta 6 in Kassel, from 1970 member of the Academy of Arts of the GDR and the Institute for Modern Art in Nuremberg
