Watercolour, still life with red cabbage and tomatoes in front of a light background, signed in lead lower right, framed behind glass in a passe-partout, sheet cut-out approx. 14 x 27.5 cm, with frame approx. 30 x 42 cm, 1908-10 studied at the Erfurt School of Applied Arts , 1910-12 training as a drawing teacher at the academy in Berlin, 1912-13 further training at the academy in Dresden with Carl Bantzer, 1914-15 drawing teacher in Erfurt, then military service, 1918-19 teaching position at the trade school in Eberswalde, 1919 founding member of the artist group "Jung- Erfurt", from 1919 freelance painter and graphic artist
