Pen drawing, titled "The interesting letter" (sic) on the right in the picture, a distinguished gentleman reading a letter, a young couple hiding behind branches on the side, observing him, signed and dated "188?" on the right in the picture. (behind passe-partout) and place name Munich, behind glass in the frame, image section approx. 13.5 x 20 cm, with decorated frame (slight signs of age) overall approx. 33 x 39 cm, landscape and marine painter born in Denmark, student of Anton Melby, H. Gude and A.v. Ramberg, founder of the 1875 Ekensund artist colony, mainly active in Munich, his pictures can be found in the Municipal Gallery at the Königstor Nuremberg, in the Kunsthalle Kiel or in the Univ.-Galerie Würzburg, lit. cf. Fv Boetticher " Paintings from the 19th century."
