Bronze, gold patina, "Lieselotte", young girl in a ballet pose, lifting her skirt with both hands, arms and head with neckline worked in fine ivory carving, octagonal plate on the side with ornamental decoration, ibid. and company monogram "Preis & Kassler", on mounted on a black marble pedestal with brown veins, 2 fingers damaged, otherwise in good condition, total height approx. 17 cm, around 1925; trained ivory carver, stays in Milan, Paris and Rome, 1906/07 founds the company "Preiss & Kassler - business for ivory art with workshop", Preiss is known above all for lifelike female figures in the Art Deco style
