Artist's bowl, brick-red shards, diamond shape with sloping mouth edge, vertically running ribs or jagged ornament arranged alternately, crackle glaze in greyish white, yellow and green, on the bottom pressed mark "K.Feuerriegel Frohburg" and inscribed "Handmalerei", good condition, H approx. 11 cm, L approx. 20 cm, 1920s/30s; from 1901/02 student at the Royal Saxon School of Applied Arts in Dresden, 1910 founding of the "Werkstätte Sächsischer Kunsttöpfereien" in Frohburg, from 1930 teaching position at the Leipzig Trade School
