Meissen manufactory, swords underglaze blue, 1st choice, designed by Paul Helmig 1911-12, model no. B 214, playing "girl with doll and basket of flowers", oval natural base, colored painting, bow damaged, H approx. 15 cm, shape from the design period around/after 1905; Paul Helmig (1859-1939), studied at the School of Applied Arts in Dresden, worked for the Meissner Manufactory from 1872, worked as a model from 1882 until his retirement in 1925 and created numerous figures and groups, as well as watch cases and vessels decorated with figures, mostly in a richly decorated, detailed design
