Marked on the bottom: proof pewter mark and maker's mark Schwarzenbach ad Saale (unknown master), round foot, cylindrical wall with ribbed bands, curved handle, monogrammed "GK" and "DMEG" and dated "1823" on the hinged lid, scepter-shaped thumb rest, fine palmette frieze, age and signs of wear, soldered joint on the lid, height approx. 27 cm, first half of the 19th century
