Marked on the handle: Georg Christoph Kalb (apprenticeship 1815-1818, master after 1828 in Nuremberg), conical wall on arched round foot with rich braided decoration, in leaf tendril inscribed "GM OM." and dated "1848", curved spout edge, hinged lid with urn-shaped knob and thumb rest, signs of age and wear, height approx. 28 cm, first half of the 19th century.
