Oil/hardboard, Alpine landscape with flower meadow in the foreground, signed lower left, wooden strip frame, partly stronger signs of age, approx. 80 x 100 cm, with frame approx. 92 x 112 cm, the artist first received graphic lessons from her father, a lithographer, then studied at the Hanau Art Academy in the fields of drawing patterns and lettering, painting flowers and drawing and copying landscapes, 1900-03 worked in Frankfurt as a draftsman, 1908 moved to Dresden, where he took lessons from Georg Gelbke and Willy Kriegel, from 1935 worked in Chemnitz , represented at art exhibitions in Dresden, Stuttgart, Munich, Leipzig, Frankfurt/Main and Chemnitz since the 1920s, active in paintings, graphics, book illustrations and porcelain painting, known as "Flower Minni".
