A 1243, attentive "deer" looking backwards over the back, Böttger stoneware, 1 hoof slightly damaged, height approx. 22.5 cm, after 1948; Willi Münch-Khe (1885-1960), studied at the Karlsruhe Art Academy, master student of Hans Thoma, supplied the Rosenthal porcelain factory with figurine designs, among others, and the Meissner manufactory acquired numerous animal figurines from his hand between 1925-55, which are extremely realistic according to the taste of the time and attest to a close observation of nature
