Aquatint etching on handmade paper, "Stiller Hof", signed and dated 1977 in lead lower right, also titled and inscribed as "Probedruck", slightly stained on the edge, otherwise in good condition, plate approx. 21 x 29.5 cm, sheet approx 25 x 32 cm, from 1962 worked as an offset printer in Berlin and Potsdam and was a student in the Caputh painting circle with Magnus Zeller, 1964-69 studied graphics at the KHS Berlin with Arno Mohr, Werner Klemke and Klaus Wittkugel, 1969-70 aspirant for graphics ibid., 1973-77 master student at the Academy of Arts with Werner Klemke, awards including 1991 Käthe Kollwitz Prize of the Academy of Arts
