Oil/cardboard, summer landscape with meadows and road, monogrammed BK. lower left, inscribed in lead by a hand other than that of Bernhard Kretzschmar, Wiese, Dresden, wide white wooden frame, 26 x 37 cm, with frame approx. 36 x 47 cm, Painter and graphic artist, trained decorative painter, 1909-11 Dresden School of Applied Arts, 1911-20 with a break in the war, studied at the Dresden Academy, among others with Raphael Wehle, Richard Müller, Oskar Schindler and Otto Gußmann, master student with Carl Bantzer and Robert Sterl, then freelance in Dresden employed
