Watercolor and lead on paper, Erzgebirge landscape, road between Bockau and Aue (Bockauer Talstraße) with a view of the Zwickauer Mulde and the Lange Villa, signed and dated (19)72 lower left, framed behind glass in a simple passe-partout, sheet section ca. 34 x 46.5 cm, with frame approx. 53 x 64 cm, apprenticeship as an engraver and lithographer, artistically largely self-taught, 1927-33 active as a commercial artist, 1943-44 studied at the HBK Dresden with Hanns Hanner, from 1945 freelance, member of the VBK of the GDR, sent to the art exhibitions of the GDR, worked in Aue in the Ore Mountains
