Oil/canvas, Ore Mountains landscape with a view over Kornfeld, signed and dated (19)28 lower right, signs of age, framing damaged, approx. 75 x 120 cm, with framing approx. 82 x 126 cm, landscape painter and designer, student until 1892 the royal industrial school in Plauen (art school), then wandered through Bavaria and Tyrol, temporarily worked as a monastery painter in Trento, 1902 first own exhibition, from 1905 freelance work in Jocketa, maintained a pattern drawing studio here, member of the Vogtland painters group, at times taught at the Plauener Art and trade school, attended the Great German Art Exhibition in Munich in 1944
