Bronze, dark brown patina, depiction of a duck reduced to a few curves and lines, laying the head backwards on the plumage, artist's monogram L. CHA scratched on the underside, patina slightly rubbed, otherwise nice condition, L approx. 8 cm; Studied at the Düsseldorf Academy with Hubert Netzer and Alexander Zschokke, known above all for his small-format animal sculptures, which Chateau himself called finger flatterers
