Lührig, Dresden, 1920 and estate stamp, approx. 32 x 37 cm, with frame approx. 43 x 48 cm , lithographer apprenticeship, 1885-1890 studied at the Munich Art Academy, stayed in Dresden until 1898, then spent two years in Romania, 1916 appointment to the Dresden Art Academy as professor for painting, drawing, graphics and nature studies, 1932/33 rector of the academy
