Bronze, patinated in gold, happiness as a mother, nude of a young lady stretching her child with both hands, child in a lively pose reaching for its mother with the left hand, rectangular base plate with artist's label. as well as location Berlin, brand Ernst Kraas Bildgiesserei Berlin ibid., stepped marble base in black with white veining (min. damaged, screwing slightly loose), 1 arm with production-related trace of crack, otherwise overall good condition, total H approx. 58.5 cm, around 1910; trained wood carver, from 1877 studied at the Royal Art Academy in Berlin, ibid. master student with Albert Wolff, 1888 participation in the world exhibition in Melbourne, from the 1890s he created mainly monumental sculptures
