Silver tested, Dutch hallmarked, arched ring-shaped base with embossed floral relief, figural motifs and coat of arms of the House of Hanover, ibid. Engraving Britannia presented to her true friend Cardinal Wolsey in memory of services rendered, pear-shaped body accented in an S-shape, richly decorated among other things with sculptural relief scenes framed by floral tendrils, putti and animals, monogrammed HvFD, crowning figure on the domed lid, screwing replaced, signs of age, wall slightly damaged, H approx. 40 cm, weight approx. 1,096 g, middle of the 19th century.
