Leistikow, unframed, approx. 33 x 50 cm, all around with old fabric tape mounting, slightly creased and two minor defects lower right, Walter Leistikow was one of the most important artists of the Berlin Secession. He played a key role in establishing Berlin as the leading metropolis of modern art. His artistic theme is the home environment with the beauty of the Brandenburg pine and lake landscape, which he reproduced in his paintings in color and surface.
